Scriptural Meditation- Matthew 15:14

Let them be. They are blind guides. When a blind man guides another blind man, both will fall in a pit.

This is very clear and quite severe. Why is Messiah so dismissive of these people? Didn’t he come first for the lost sheep of Israel? But what about these lost sheep, do they not matter? I wonder if the instruction to leave them be is for believers to not get caught up with the lost. We can’t change other people’s hearts. Only they can do that. They have to make the choice to turn back to G-d. Perhaps the admonition is for those on the right track to stay focused on living the life our Heavenly Father wants for them and letting Him worry about others.
