Scriptural Meditation- Matthew 21:22

“In other words, you will receive everything you ask for in prayer, no matter what it is, provided you have trust.”

I said it before, I have no desire to move literal mountains. I mean it would be neat, but what purpose is there in it? I have wondered if these words are meant only for the disciples. The disciples are marveling at what happened to the fig tree when Messiah tells them they have this power, too. It feels like it could be focused on them. He tells them something about ruling over the 12 tribes of Israel alongside him in the Last Days. Are believers today supposed to spiritualize that and envision themselves as being in such a position? That doesn’t sound prudent to me. I would need to do more of an investigation into the matter to come up with a clear answer, but I see Messiah’s message on faith as applying to all believers. After all, you can’t make a shot you don’t take.

Some friends and I are working to test our faith and powers prayer. With Heaven’s help, we will see his might in full force very soon.
