So stay alert, because you don’t know on what day your Lord will come.
Is that why Messiah taught against procrastination?
This passage is wonderful for today. It speaks to me about not being rocked by the waves of society. It also teaches to be on guard and wait for the return of Messiah. I love the balance presented in the message: live everyday as if you expect the Messiah to return, but live each day to the fullest. If you are a transformed creation, you should be pursuing holy and neutral matters. We are made for this world, but we are to transcend our flesh and become godly. With Yeshua as our example, we see that we can still be fully human while having our eyes on the Kingdom and working towards building it up. I take this entire passage to chase my dreams while being rooted in my faith and looking forward to continuing my life in the world to come.
