Scriptural Meditation- John 6:15

Yeshua knew that they were on the point of coming and seizing him, in order to make him king; so he went back to the hills again. This time he went by himself.

I wonder if the people clamoring to make Messiah king was hurtful to him in some way. Knowing what he was sent to endure, knowing how their hopes would be dashed and how they would be made to suffer, did that cause his retreat?

The Lord knows it is not good for Man to be alone, but He also created a world of cycles and extremes. Sometimes we just need be left alone. Solace can refresh us heart mind and soul. Sometimes being alone with your thoughts is the best way to hear the Father and feel His presence.
