Scriptural Meditation- 1 Kings 17:20

Then he cried out to The LORD: “LORD my G-d! Have you brought also this misery on the widow I’m staying with by killing her son?”

The way Moshe and Eliyahu question HaShem is insightful and instructive. We should be able to ask of our Father that He reconsider and show mercy when things are not right. In questioning HaShem they express faith, not doubt, in His righteousness and the depths of His love for people. We should not be afraid to ask any good thing of our Heavenly Father, for His Power and His Grace are infinite.
