Scriptural Meditation- Romans 15:1

So we who are strong have a duty to bear the weaknesses of those who are not strong, rather than please ourselves.

As this passage says, Messiah lowered himself by taking on insult and injury that he didn’t deserve. He took that on in the stead of those weaker and lower than him in order to embrace them and elevate them and bring them to a place where they could do the same for others. May we have the strength and humility to bear insult as we help our brothers and sisters come to know our Heavenly Father through our living sacrifice.
