Scriptural Meditation- 2 Kings 12:4

Nevertheless the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and presented offerings on the high places.

The beauty and grace of the Most High in our freedom to sin, to fall, to choose to call out to Him is amazing. Yo’ash is called a good king despite the high places remaining intact. The people destroyed the house of Ba’al at the start of his reign, but they didn’t take that next step. As their sin continued, so did the Father’s grace.  It is the same for us. No matter how far we stay, the Father is always waiting for us to reach out to Him.
