Scriptural Meditation- Isaiah 5:20

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!

We live in a time of relativism and narratives. Some say everything is fluid and ever-changing. As believers, we should have the clarity and godly insight to see through confusion and reject muddy pit this high-minded thinking puts us in. We can rest on the limitations and boundaries set out by the Most High and work from there. We don’t need to be bogged down in uncertainty. We know that we should Fear Heaven and keep the commandments, we know we should love our neighbors and treat them as we would want to be treated. In love and sincerity we can draw lines and say that is evil and this is good and we should do it without fear of those who would malign us and call us evil for pointing out reality. Be bold. Speak truth in love. Have compassion, but do not justify sin.
