Scriptural Meditation- 2 Corinthians 13:5

Examine yourselves to see whether you are living the life of trust. Test yourselves. Don’t you realize that Yeshua the Messiah is in you? — unless you fail to pass the test.

Being a believer does not mean not being tested. It doesn’t mean you won’t struggle either. Part of what it means though, is to know and struggle with yourself. When Messiah said to take care of the plank in your eye before addressing the spec in your neighbor’s he meant it. It is so easy to look outside of ourselves. In fact it is natural. We are called to be godly and to look inward, to make sure that who we are within is who we seem to be. Never mind what others think, say and do. Focus on what you do, say and think and cleave to the Almighty to for the strength to walk after Him alone.
