Scriptural Meditation- Philippians 2:4

look out for each other’s interests and not just for your own.

You need to look out for your own interests, because no one else will. You should not look out for your own interests to the exclusion of others. As a believer, you are called to go above and beyond, you are called to be godly and be a blessing to others. If you attend to yourself, to your health, wealth and happiness, you are in an even better position to help those around you. In a way, you owe it to your friends, family and neighbors to be at your best, so that you can help them to be at their best.
