Take time to reflect on your journey and know that it isn’t too late to hold fast to the Almighty. Cleave to your Heavenly Father by knowing His Word and what it means for your story.

The first portion of the book of Devarim/Deuteronomy is Devarim, which means “Words.” This is the forty-fourth Torah Portion.

Devarim (“Words”) is the first Torah portion in the Book of Deuteronomy, the final book of the Torah. In it, Moses recounts events from the Israelites’ travels in the desert, like the appointment of judges, the sin of the spies, and the wars with the Emorite kings Sihon and Og.

In the Haftorah, the prophet Isaiah chastises Judah for corruption, wickedness and falseness as they act as if they love the LORD while sinning.

In the Apostolic Writings, Messiah warns of the destruction of the Temple and exhorts his disciples to endure oppression, false prophets.

TORAH: DUTERONOMY 1:1-3:22

HAFTORAH: ISAIAH 1:1-27

APOSTLES: MATTHEW 24:1-22

Now, go study.
